Disfarmer was a photographer in who lived in the first half of the 20th century. He lived in rural Arkansas photographing the locals using only natural light, though his work didn’t gain any popularity of til after his death, he is held as one of the best photographers of his era.
The goal of this project was to create a website that promoted Disfarmer’s work and the traveling exhibitions of photographs. Along with a website a series of magazine advertisements were created to bring the view back to times of the people in the portrait even is they were’nt around when Disfarmer was.
